New deal on zero per cent credit cards

Fri, 14 May 2010

The AA has extended its zero per cent credit cards deals to all successful online customer applicants.

Customers will now have the chance to pay zero per cent interest for ten months on all purchases while balance transfers made within 90 days of opening the account will be subject to no interest for 12 months.

Previously, these deals had only been open to people applying through comparison sites, although they are now available through the company's website.

Other benefits of the card include reward points for all spending, which can then redeemed through high street shopping vouchers, special days out or a wide range of products and services offered by the company.

Moneynet recently revealed that the number of interest-free deals available in the credit card market is almost back to the levels seen in the summer of 2008.

This came after the number of offers plummeted during the recession.
