Halifax has launched a new online credit card deal aimed at helping those looking to switch balances .
The firm's All In One credit card offers a rate of zero per cent on both transfers and purchases for a period of nine months.
According to the company, the average credit card holder could save £151 by switching to the deal.
Alan Brindley, head of Halifax Card Services, claimed that an increasing number of people are looking to shift their balance to a lower rate.
"The online All In One credit card deal is a great offer which could save our customers significant sums in interest payments," he said.
Customers looking to recue the cost of spending should also find that the card is ideal, Mr Brindley added.
Recently, a study by Barclaycard Payment Acceptance revealed that more than 11.5 million debit and credit card transactions were processed on Christmas Eve, with 387 payments per second being made at one point.
