Halifax is claiming that it has a range of credit cards for every shopper during the festive season.
The deals, which include 0% credit cards, balance transfer cards and a flat-rate card, will "suit every shopper's needs", according to the bank.
Halifax's One Card has two offers currently available, one of which features 0% on balance transfers and purchases for nine months, with an annual percentage rate of 9.9%.
Additionally, for a higher interest rate of 12.9%, the credit card features an extended 0% interest period of 12 months.
Peter Jackson, head of Products at Halifax, comments: "Many people may have already made their Christmas purchases on expensive store cards.
"Switching to a credit card with a 0% introductory offer on balance transfers could help them lower the overall cost of Christmas spends."
Recent research from Morgan Stanley found that the average British consumer would spend around £1,270 on a credit card in the run-up to Christmas.
Patrick Muir, marketing director at Morgan Stanley Credit Card, claimed that customers are also using credit cards to pay for larger purchases.
