GM
Your card. Your purchases. Your reward.
The GM card offers a unique advantage above all others: it has now helped cardmembers redeem on over 5 million vehicles.
Here’s how it works: Every time you shop using your GM card, anywhere you see the MasterCard sign, you’ll earn something called rebate points. These points can then be used to save up to £2000 off a new Vauxhall, or an incredible £2500 on a new Saab.
The rebate points may be used from the moment they appear on your card statement, for up to four years from that date. The maximum amount of money you can redeem on a new Saab or Vauxhall depends on the model of car you are purchasing. As a Christmas gift, we have now increased the amount of rebate points that you can spend on some of our Vauxhall models. Also, if two cardholders live at one address, we’ll allow them to pool their rebate points together. Also, any points you accumulate can be transferred directly to a relative, even if they are not a GM cardholder themselves. If your new car is a company car, we’ll let you exchange up to £500 with us for an equivalent value of high street store vouchers; these can then be spent at a variety of top high street chains.
Rebate points are earned at 3% of your spend. The GM card offers online accounting, no annual fee and a typical APR of 14.9% variable
GM Platinum card
The GM Platinum Card lets you collect points for redemption against the purchase of a new Vauxhall Car. As with any other loyalty reward card, we would recommend comparing the points you gain from this with the savings you might make from using a lower interest card.
