Bank of Scotland credit cards

With Bank of Scotland you can choose for a wide range of specialist and charity credit cards. These are perfect if there are specific charities or even football teams that you would like to show your supposrt for.

However, Bank of Scotlands rates are definitely not tyhe best on the market and if you want to support a charity a better bet would be to get a card with a higher cash back rate and donate that to charity.

For example, most affinity cards pay out around 25p for every £100 you spend - so you would have to spend £4000 just to raise £10. Instead, you could apply for an Accucard credit card with 0.8% cash rebate, or American Express Blue Card, and earn £1 cash back for every £100 spent - four times the value.

A small fee is paid to charity with every transaction made.
